Turn any sheet music into a key-by-key piano lesson
PianGo shows which key to press, draws your hands and fingering over the keyboard, listens as you play, and moves on when you get it right. It needs JavaScript to run, so please enable it — or read more below.
What it does
- Plans fingering for the whole piece, scoring candidate finger assignments against Parncutt's ergonomic span rules and choosing the cheapest sequence with a Viterbi pass. Printed fingering is kept.
- Draws both hands over the keys, so a beginner sees a hand shape rather than a number above a note.
- Reads your own music: MusicXML (.musicxml, .xml, .mxl) and MIDI (.mid), exactly — chords, ties, both staves.
- Listens through the microphone at an acoustic piano, over Web MIDI, or via the on-screen keys.
- Fifty-six built-in pieces graded beginner, intermediate and advanced.
- Eight languages: English, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese.
