PianGo

Privacy policy

PianGo is a practice tool, not an advertising business. It keeps as little about you as it can, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Last updated 5 November 2026. This policy covers the PianGo website (piango.app) and the PianGo app for iPad and iPhone.

Without an account

You can use PianGo without signing in. Your progress, settings and any piece you import stay on your device, in the browser's or app's own storage. They are never sent to us.

  • Microphone. When you choose microphone note detection, PianGo listens on your device to tell which note you played. The sound is analysed as it arrives and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
  • MIDI and Bluetooth. A connected keyboard tells PianGo which keys you press. Those key presses stay on your device.
  • Imported files. A MusicXML or MIDI file you open is read on your device and is not uploaded.

With an account

Signing in is only needed for My library, where sheet music you send us is kept for you alone. For that we keep:

  • Your email address, to sign you in with a link or code. There is no password.
  • That you agreed to the rights terms, and when.
  • The pieces converted for you, readable only by your account.

If you email sheet music to sheets@piango.app, we use your message and its attachments only to convert the music and add it to your library.

Who stores it

Account data is stored with Supabase. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. The website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses for a short time to run and secure the service. These companies process the data only to provide those services to us.

PianGo has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

In My library, Delete my account removes your account, your agreement record and every piece kept for you, straight away. You can also delete single pieces there. Data kept only on your device goes when you clear the site's data or delete the app.

Children

PianGo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A child can use PianGo fully without an account.
